The Challenge Ahead: This role will be part of the Program Management Office (PMO) in the People Experience Function (PE) team. The PMO team is a new organization which plays a critical role in changing how the HR function (PE) operates to enable simple, awesome experiences for EA’s employees.

The Intern, Program Management will support transformative initiatives with the goal of identifying new ways of working and efficiencies. Partnering with members of the PMO and PE team, the position will work on high visibility projects such as integrated calendar support, process mapping and project management. Reporting into a leader on the PMO team, this role is a highly collaborative working with various program owners and stakeholders within PE. This is a great learning opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering, problem solving and looking to make an impact in a short time.

What the Intern, Program Management does at EA:

  • Collaborate with the PMO team, and members of the PE community to align on timelines for communications, employee experience events and manager programs
  • Support the maintenance of the PE Integrated Calendar, including Smartsheets configuration, data management
  • Creating customized presentations and Smartsheets views as needed to support leadership conversations re: program timelines and sequencing
  • Support Promapp system maintenance and administrative and become a Promapp super user
  • Collaborate with PE center of expertise leaders to guide process mapping initiatives for our Promapp toolkit
  • Map processes in Promapp with guidance of subject matter expert
  • Seek and guide teams to think about process efficiency with process mapping projects
  • Support building a process re-engineering toolkit and methodology

 

The next Intern, Program Management at EA also needs to have:

  • Minimum experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 3+ years of experience in HR Operations or HR Partnership
  • Master’s degree (in progress) in business, labor relations, IO Psychology or HR Management
  • Functional knowledge of HR, including Total Rewards, L&D, Recruiting and HR Business Partnership
  • Process Mapping – can clearly define ambiguous works into defined chunks and articulate through a process map
  • Program management skills - Can disambiguate complex programs and structure work into a project plan with concrete steps and deliverables
  • Relationship management - Excellent at building and managing through relationships across the organization - with peers, upwards, and with center of expertise partners
