Position Title: Experiences Sr Product Mgr II

External Description:

At our core, Electronic Arts is a game maker that connects hundreds of millions of players from around the globe to some of the world’s greatest games. The EAX team is driving the strategy and implementation of important initiatives for EA’s players to connect them to one another and to the games they love to play. These initiatives include: the EA app, EA Play, our cross-platform subscription, EA’s gaming service on PC; and a host of other consumer experiences and e-commerce solutions related to connecting players across platforms and within our games.

In your role as Sr Manage or Product, you will be responsible for distilling high level strategic direction into actionable product initiatives. You’ll be charged to define and drive strategic product initiative through expert-level problem statement and user story creation that you’ll leverage to gain solution alignment with Design and Development counterparts, and ultimately gain funding to staff and execute. You will be a regular consumer of data to analyze performance of our live service products and features to identify live service opportunities to create richer player experiences leading to growth. You will partner across disciplines (Design, Problem and opportunity identification and effective solution definition and execution. You quickly understand user needs, and can rally your team to define holistic solutions in a systematic way.

Responsibilities:

  • Communication and Collaboration. You’re an excellent communicator with a demonstrated ability to partner, collaborate, and engage technical stakeholders effectively to achieve outcome based success that you’ve helped define through clear outcomes and measurable key results. 
  • Adapting. You have a passion for quality, and determine the best approach based on player feedback, data, the competitive landscape, and peer collaboration. You identify challenges and adjust as you go.
  • Creating. You have experience leading product definition, prioritization, and guiding the delivery of technically complex product initiatives either as an individual contributor or team leader/manager. .
  • Technical Literacy. You are able to collaborate with a very technical team and clearly summarize the technical challenges and objectives for the team. 

Qualifications:

  • Successfully managed complex products and teams in the past
  • A proven ability to define goals and metrics for products and be accountable for corresponding outcomes and growth in your area of focus
  • Exceptional business judgment with a strategic and analytical aptitude
  • Familiar with the gaming industry and current entertainment platforms
  • Experience leading a cross-disciplinary team
  • Experience partnering with internal or external customers and/or stakeholders
  • 8+ years of experience in relative work experience


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.


BASE SALARY RANGES

• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $133,400 - $193,200 CAN Annually
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $161,100 - $239,700 USD Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
