The Challenge Ahead:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Events, the Global Event Producer executes and supports the strategic planning and production across the full bandwidth of events – corporate, consumer, press, influencer and competitive gaming events. You will have an impact on multiple game brands and corporate programs, specifically focusing on productions within the APAC region and the production of European FIFA events.

You will establish a close partnership with your partners and agencies, coordinating amplification programs such as live stage programs, live performances and broadcasts that carry the product narrative. You will oversee all the budget components including vendor agreements, invoices and investment limits. Once the event has concluded, you will publish a post-mortem analysis that tracks and reports all event metrics and results against goals.

What a Global Events Producer does at EA:

• Support strategic planning and production of high value events that achieve a premium local and broadcast experience to promote corporate and product narratives, premium guest experience, and maximum return on investment.
• Events to include EA PLAY, E3 and gamescom, and further consumer, competitive gaming, influencer and press events.
• Role to focus on producing title-specific marketing and competitive gaming events within the APAC region and FIFA specific projects within Europe.
• Help establish event planning processes that bring expertise specific to the APAC region.
• Drive event execution plans in partnership with CFX teams including Marcom Activation and Strategy, Global Communications, Competitive Gaming, Workplaces and Security.
• Ensure all events meet EA and title-specific goals, reach metrics and follow spending guidelines.
• Organize project, load-in and rehearsal schedules.
• Manage a matrix of vendors including AV, Construction, Transportation, Art/Design, IT and Show Services that includes details regarding products and services, payment requirements, hours of operation, and contact information
• Negotiate contracts and act as contact for event vendors and internal partners, such as Legal, Global Sourcing, and Finance.
• Maintain all event/meeting calendars, arrange shipping, organise event equipment, book hotels, transportation and catering.
• Research new event opportunities
• Staff events and assist/oversee with set-up and break-down. Some travel, evening and weekend work may be required.

The next great EA Global Events Producer also needs:

• 3+ years of experience in Events, Trade Show or Project Management; in the gaming industry is a plus.
• Tactical: manage a high volume of work.
• Interpersonal skills: ability to work effectively with numerous remote colleagues and across many different departments within the company.
• Experience researching new vendors, best practices and special projects.
• Willingness to jump in and help with big projects and learn on the go.
• Fluent in English, other languages a plus.
• Experience with project management software is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and working late hours during peak times.
