The Challenge Ahead: Our People Practices, Integration Partner plays a critical role within the People Experience function and serves as a connection point between teams, including People Experience COEs, regional People Practices Partners and Business Partners. This is a high impact role within People Experience and will be a catalyst to transforming how the function operates. The Integration Partner will act as a conduit, working with our senior Business Partners and People Practices Partners to translate EA and Business Unit talent strategies into specific initiatives to be delivered by our Practices team within the business. The Integration Partner will also play a leadership role in guiding global People Experience programs from planning into action, connecting teams across our COE’s, People Practices and Business Partners. This position will work alongside People Practices Partners to define key timelines and milestones and translate guidance back to regional teams for global program delivery. They will use their strong communication skills to keep information flowing through-out the organization, ensuring timely and effective messages are shared and cascaded.

Reporting into the Head of People Practices, the Integration Partner will also be responsible for bringing the Business Partner and People Partner points of view forward in aiding the Project Management Office (PMO) team to define best practices and playbooks for a variety of global programs, global processes, COE operating models, and reporting & analytics methods/tools. This is a highly-collaborative role, working with and influencing teams across People Experience.

The role will most likely be based in Redwood City, CA with intermittent travel required (~20% at most). 

What the People Practices, Integration Partner does at EA:

  • Liaises with senior Business Partners and People Practices Partners to understand the business and talent strategy for aligned business units and translate strategic initiatives into operational program plans. The program plans will be mobilized through People Experience COEs or regional People Partner teams.
  • Partners with senior Business Partners, COEs and Regional Practices teams to ensure that strategic priorities and global program requirements are defined, move forward as planned, and work is completed on time to an exceptional quality standard.
  • For global program delivery initiatives such as Talent & Succession Planning and EA’s Compensation event, the Integration Partner partners with COEs (i.e. Total Rewards, LEAP) to translate program requirements and timelines into business unit specific project plans. This includes project planning & tracking for workstream, owners, milestones, deliverables, activity sequencing and deadlines as well as support for Executive level presentations.
  • Brings analytical horsepower to drive use of metrics and analyses that provide talent insights to Business Partners and Regional Practices team.
  • Creates timely and effective communications that can be shared and cascaded globally to keep all of People Experience informed, connected and aligned on our work.
  • Works with the PMO team to develop best practices, handbooks and playbooks focused on global program and process delivery.
  • Works with PMO team on process improvement opportunities, designing programs and best practices for the future. Supports the change management and training on new capability development.

 

The next great People Practices, Integration Partner at EA also needs to have:

  • Minimum experience: Bachelor Degree in a relevant field plus 10+ years of progressive success within Human Resources as an HR Business Partner, or HR COE Program Manager
  • Strong functional knowledge of HR, including Total Rewards, L&D, Recruiting and HR Business Partnership
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities. Partners with senior Partners at the right altitude, providing advisory and program delivery support 
  • Superior program management skills. Can disambiguate complex programs and structure work into a project plan with concrete steps and deliverables  
  • Excellent at building and managing through relationships across the organization - with peers, upwards, and with center of expertise partners
  • Excellent change management skills. Comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, able to methodically work through complex problems, set priorities and execute on commitments
  • Demonstrated live presentation, facilitation and communication skills, can adjust and level set with a wide variety of skills, levels, seniority in HR and the business
  • Sensitivity to local culture / language norms and ability to modify communications (written/verbal) to engage a global audience
  • Fluent with G-suite, Slack, virtual technologies (i.e. zoom) for facilitation
  • Must have a sense of humor and a drive to win!
