Position Title: Manager I, Finance

The Enterprise Strategy and Planning team is responsible for the coordination, consolidation, reporting, and analysis of EA’s long-range plan.  We play a critical role on the Global Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team providing strategic partnerships to executive leaders across EA. We achieve this through engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, analyzing data, and delivering insights to help drive EA’s future performance.

As the Manager, Enterprise FP&A, you play a critical role in long-term financial planning, influencing company strategy, and driving financial discipline to achieve our goals. You are experienced in communicating financial analysis through storytelling to align with company strategy. You will report to the Director of Enterprise Finance – Strategy & Planning.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and analyze EA’s long-range planning data submission, which is foundational to evolving and implementing our strategy.

  • Evaluate portfolio scenarios against total company P&L goals. Partnering with Demand Planning, FP&A, Corporate Strategy, and EA’s executive team to strengthen the connection between financial and operational data within company planning.

  • Support Anaplan system enhancements by testing functionalities, data setup, mapping/data integrity, and user training.

  • Coordinate Lifetime Product P&Ls submission, Input rationalization, and reporting.

  • Work with Hyderabad and the Enterprise FP&A team on the estimate reporting deck.

  • Work on the Questions and Answers documents that are prepared for the quarterly earnings analyst and investor calls, including coordination across the Investor Relations, other FP&A teams, and corporate communications teams

  • Ad-hoc analysis to support total company decision-making, including quarterly earnings activities, and help create new Power BI reports and data standardization

Financial & Strategic Business Partnership:

  • Engage with the broader business FP&A teams throughout the planning and forecasting process to understand business drivers and forecast assumptions by group – challenging assumptions, where necessary, and evaluating risks and opportunities.

  • Develop appropriate fiscal targets across the organization, in partnership with business and FP&A leadership.

  • Work with the Director of Enterprise FP&A Strategy & Planning to create EA’s financial narrative and materials for executive business reviews, which will also shape external IR messaging.

  • Partner with the Financial Systems and Analytics team to design and roll out enhancements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required – Finance / Economics / Accounting related field

  • Minimum 5 years in FP&A, as a Finance partner and consolidation roles.

  • Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting & analysis. 

  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint expertise required.

  • Experience with Anaplan and Power BI

  • Proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge.

  • Demonstrated experience in written and verbal communication skills conveying to diverse audiences.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): º $103,200 - $145,600 USD Annually

• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): º $89,300 - $123,000 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
