The Challenge Ahead:
The Commercial Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team overviews EA’s Global Sales Business across all product lines and channels in a fast-evolving industry.
While our group is tasked with managing the traditional FP&A activities, the key objective is to maximise overall profitability and provide insight for business partners to optimise their decision making.
The role is to be based in Lyon or Guildford and you will be part of the Experience FP&A team, reporting into the Senior Finance Manager based in Lyon, France. The primary responsibility of this position concerns consolidation of EA's global revenues and being a Finance partner to our Digital businesses.
What a Finance Analyst does at EA:
- Forecast, Budgeting & Close Support.
- Global Revenue Consolidation: Aggregate revenue streams from diverse partners to create a consolidated view of global revenue performance.
- Standardisation: Work with finance teams across different regions and teams to ensure collection and reporting of revenue data.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to compare actual revenue performance against forecasts.
The next EA Finance Analyst also needs:
- Bachelor’s degree with +2 years of experience within an accounting and FP&A
- Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA / ACCA / equivalent preferable
- Fluency in English
- Experienced user of financial applications (Anaplan / Power BI)
- Comfortable presenting to larger groups including a non-finance audience up to senior management level.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Appreciation for data integrity, process definition and organisational understanding
- Partnering with US based partners.
- Passionate and enthusiastic to achieve results
