This role requires on-site work at our Orlando studio (3x per week) – fully remote work is not offered for this position.

Please note that this is a 12 month temporary position. Relocation is not provided for this position.

This Production position will work in a centralized capacity on American Football, directly contributing to the creation, maintenance and innovation of player ratings, rosters and likeness for College Football and Madden NFL. Reporting to the Production Director and Development Director, this role will work closely with multiple game teams on both football products creating players, evaluating real-life sports performance for player ratings, researching equipment loadouts and likeness, and contributing direct data entry across multiple roster files and databases, with the primary goal of ultimate authenticity and realism. This role requires detailed data management, and requires forward-thinking innovation towards a future of more automated data-management and analysis.

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

• Research and creation of College and NFL athletes
• Research and data entry of over 52 player ratings for College and NFL athletes in excel-like tools
• Research and development of player likeness, biographical information and equipment loadout for current and legendary players of American Football
• Collaboration with peers in driving to meet product deadlines, weekly live service updates, and internal communication
• Review and interpret NFL and College football game film, scouting reports, stats and advanced data
• Work with technical partners to ideate and innovate on new processes and technologies for the future of roster data-management

 

Your Qualifications:

• Subject-Matter Expertise of the NFL and College Football – a unique passion and eye for detail for the sport of American football, it’s teams, players, fundamentals, stats and culture.
• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for sports video gaming
• 2+ year’s industry experience specifically in sports, game design, quality assurance or database management, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge
• Familiarity with relational databases, spreadsheets and/or other data management tools
• Experience troubleshooting problems and discovering solutions either individually or in collaboration with a team
• Ability to quickly react and be agile in response to the unexpected
• Attention to detail and the ability to execute on multiple tasks in parallel
• Ability to positively collaborate with peers and efficiently communicate progress updates and obstacles

Bonus:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Game Design/Production or equivalent experience
