The Producer II plays an essential role at the intersection of production and creative. By fostering close relationships with our production teams and keeping in constant communication with partners, the Producer I guides the production of assets from creation to deployment. As a Producer II, you will manage campaign assets Key Art, Video trailers, and other supporting assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with main team leaders to guide the creative execution and production of AAA assets for a global gaming audience.
  • Maintain a clear overview of all content creation and instinctively delve into details when a more hands on approach is required.
  • Communicate schedules, status, risks, challenges, and solutions throughout the company.
  • Content Production – Help create, organize and execute the production of video and design assets; Key Art, Design systems, Video trailers, BGU Videos, Screenshots, and other campaign assets.
  • Manage and reduce project risks throughout the production process.
  • Be a source of knowledge and resource for team members and chase answers where there are gaps in the team's knowledge.
  • Maintain the tools and trackers we use on a day to day basis.
  • Create workback and production schedules based on delivery dates and keep interested parties updated on production deadlines & milestones.
  • Organize frequent creative reviews with dev, brand, activation, and other team members to solicit feedback and approval on latest creative work.
  • Drive actionable feedback from the creative lead and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure assets are tracking on time.
  • Manage post production vendors with the Senior Producer including review bids for accuracy, consistency and once approved, initiate SOW's and PO requests.
  • Maintains a solution-oriented mindset and is proactive in approaching teammates for help to solve production questions
  • Initiate music licensing and composition requests with EA's music group, confirming usage, territory, timeline, and artist credits.
  • Send trailers and other assets to EA's Legal team with proper caveats for review and confirm required disclaimers.
  • Send videos to ESRB for pre-clearance and communicate fixes required for compliance.
  • Sync with EA's localization team to confirm on time delivery of localization projects and assets.
  • Ensure all assets are uploaded to EA's server and Studio tools.
  • QC all assets for accurate spelling, required legal copy, ESRB ratings, correct end slate CTA's, and ensure files are error free.
  • Send links to final assets including thumbnails, metadata, and video needed for final deployment email.
  • Forecast and maintain asset production budgets and meet with finance partners to ensure accuracy of budget control documents.
  • Provide rapid response to executive & senior leadership team requests for assets for special use cases, events, board meetings, award shows, etc.
  • Maintain a total ownership mentality, accountable and invested in great outcomes and high quality content.
  • Work autonomously, however rely on the Senior Producer for support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in applicable fields such as design, video games, communications, media, VFX, agency preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in asset production at video game or creative content studios (Agency or Post VFX).
  • Ability to work well under pressure and independently look for ways to support and improve the team.
  • Proven track record working with developers and vendors.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Willing to travel when necessary.
  • Expert technical knowledge of broadcast (and other media) standards and how to maintain them across a wide variety of assets.
  • Experiencer with common production tools: Airtable, Asana, Smartsheet, Frame.io, Frontify, Google Drive.
  • You are a master of influence, carefully balancing creative excellence with on time delivery while following budget constraints and looking for savings.
  • Be an accomplished mediator and resolver of conflicts, able to help people and teams with opposing points of view come together and agree on goals and solutions.
  • Can distill complex plans down to their path and essential milestones.
  • Be a negotiator, with excellent change management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excel in a fast paced highly agile environment with daily deliverables that must be met.

 

 

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

 

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

 

BASE SALARY RANGES

 

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $89,300 - $123,000 CAN Annually

 

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
