Content Operations

The Content Solutions and Activation team, which sits within Growth Marketing is seen as an essential arm of the business. We are eager, have a lean-in mindset, and are keen to architect efficient unified campaign workspace solutions. We act with urgency to enable campaign planning, improve content pipelines and deploy content to our fans by ensuring product interoperability, employing generative solutions, unifying cross-team operating models and anchoring decisioning to deeper content reporting.

Responsibilities:

Growth Marketing is at the forefront of digital marketing. Through advanced solutions, transformative processes, and an audience-first approach, Growth Marketing focuses on data-driven decision-making, process simplification, and driving increased output, productivity, engagement, and revenue.

 

As the Content Operations Manager, you will be the primary liaison for partner teams involved in the content pipeline. You will play an important role in the architecture and development of a Unified Campaign Workspace. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Integrated Marketing Expertise: Understand the entire integrated marketing process, from strategy and planning to execution.
  • Content Production and Deployment: Gain a comprehensive understanding of how marketing content is produced and deployed.
  • Collaborative Improvement: Partner with internal teams to enhance the content pipeline, ensuring a seamless content journey.
  • Tool and Process Support: Oversee the implementation of new tools and workflows to increase efficiencies.
  • Process Optimization: Improve existing processes to align with business and industry growth.
  • Gap Identification and Resolution: Identify gaps within the content journey and develop solutions to address them.
  • Partner Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with partners to ensure smooth collaboration and communication.

Additionally, you will pave the road to automation and help the business scale up:

  • Identify gaps, opportunities, and ways to increase content scalability.
  • Bring standardization to processes and workflows.
  • Partner with developers to build solutions using internal and external tools, translating our needs into action.
  • Oversee content pipeline projects that prepare the business for future automation.

 

This is a diverse, expanding, and challenging role, reporting to the Senior Content Operations Manager based in Montreal, Canada. You will engage with a globally distributed team, with the primary team located in North America.

 

Qualifications:

 

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in Marketing, Content Operations, or Content Production is preferred.
  • Experience with Content delivery/management is advantageous.
  • Bonus points for experience in video games or similar dynamic sports/entertainment environments.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Office suite, G Suite, with the ability to create clear visuals and documentation.
  • Strong understanding and technical knowledge of content formats.
  • Hands-on Project Management experience in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience using cloud based tools like Airtable.

 

Soft Skills:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Naturally inquisitive and curious, with a genuine interest in operational processes.
  • Imaginative and creative in developing ideas and solutions.
  • Comfortable with change and able to demonstrate comfort with ambiguity.
  • Conscientious with impeccable organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent at initiating dialogue, identifying barriers, and generating alignment.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable navigating uncharted waters.
  • Strong international orientation with the ability to drive results across diverse geographies as a key player in global communications campaigns.

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $89,300 - $123,000 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
