Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis, EA Experiences

Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team provides strategic partnership to leaders across EA. We do this by engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, analyzing data, and delivering insights to help guide EA’s performance.

You will lead all financial elements associated with the strategy delivery of executive leadership partners across EA Experiences whose team purpose and remit is to build community and accelerate growth by engaging 'More People, for Better Time'. 

You will collaborate with multiple teams, including EA SPORTS and EA Entertainment, to provide strategic advice and financial insights. In addition to this, you will manage the EA Experiences FP&A team supporting five important areas: Publishing, Fan Growth, EA Brand Comms & Impact, Office of the CXO, and Ventures

Responsibilities

  • You will participate as a full member of the Experiences leadership team, making enterprise-level decisions on resources and investments and provide accurate reporting to ensure informed decisions.
  • Lead financial planning processes, track performance indicators, and provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support the business.
  • Align all team members on specific funding proposals
  • Partner with leadership to advise and manage budgets across all projects & titles
  • Support leadership in making investment and project decisions
  • Update financial visibility outlook, risk & opportunities
  • Improve internal finance workflows to improve partnerships
  • Anticipate risks and collaborate with the business leadership to maintain financial goals
  • Balance priorities, and find creative solutions that achieve results 
  • Recruit and develop a successful inclusive team
  • Influence, motivate and collaborate with all team members
  • You will create an environment of excellence by implementing best practices, processes, and standards

Qualifications

  • 15 or more years’ experience in senior finance roles
  • Executive leadership experience with a focus on team success and inclusivity
  • Well honed ability to resolve complex business issues through relationships
  • Experience working in game development and marketing as a preference
  • In-depth knowledge of financial planning and analysis
  • Proven experience evaluating performance metrics and implementing action plans.
  • Track record of using tools, processes, and teamwork to work at scale

 

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): $282,000 - $308,000 USD Annually
  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):248,000 CAD to 340,000 CAD CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
