Position Title: Sr Manager, Game Product Management

You will be reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management .

Location Hybrid: San Francisco, CA; Vancouver, BC; Austin, TX; Seattle, WA

As a Lead Product Manager with Maxis, you will be part of the team improving our gameplay updates. Be the PM lead for gameplay roadmap planning and ensure our gameplay updates and DLCs delight players and drive business success.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate insights that identify new opportunities for game expansions and increase business and player impact of new Sims 4 DLCs 

    • Collaborate with data, consumer insights, user research, and other teams to find qualitative and quantitative insights that improve the business performance and player satisfaction of gameplay features and updates 

    • Recommend and manage AB tests that improve the gameplay experience

    • Work with large data sets to analyze player behavior and recommend gameplay features that enhance the player experience 

  • Drive improvements to the Sims 4 gameplay roadmap process; Regularly refresh the backlog, use data to assess and evaluate opportunities, and with Design and Production, prioritize our future DLC and base game updates 

  • Collaborate with Commercial and Marketing leaders to review changes to our DLC go-to-market and promotional plans 

  • Lead Product Reviews and retrospectives that analyze previous gameplay releases and recommend changes to the roadmap based on learnings 

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years Product Management experience

  • Previous experience launching and optimizing gameplay features for a large title, particularly on PC and/or console

  • Previous experience leading roadmap planning for a large title 

  • Analytical background; Experience turning data into actionable insights

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • MBA, business, or software engineering background

  • Passion for games, especially Life Simulation games

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $126,000 - $176,300 CAN Annually

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):

º $161,100 - $239,700 USD Annually

• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):

º $142,900 - $230,000 USD Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
