As a Product Manager your responsibilities are to:

  • Lead, run and grow a team of product managers and analysts who are responsible for a portfolio of games.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to your team to drive product strategy for top mobile games.
  • Work with other senior product managers across EA Mobile to build partnerships and inspire creativity across our games and player experiences.
  • Guide your team to make decisions to drive profitable outcomes across the portfolio of games we run from our studio while respecting our player first approach.
  • Define important game features and mechanics that support the longevity, profitability, and vision of the product.
  • Work with the design and other main disciplines to define the product requirements and specifications, and lead throughout the development process.
  • Work with your team of Product managers and analysts to scope and prioritise feature development initiatives to maximise Return on investment.
  • Work with your team to plan, prioritize and execute an in-depth analysis of the in-game economy, engagement, and monetization trends using data insights and experience to build strategic recommendations for improvement for a portfolio of games you lead.
  • Track performance and communicate KPIs to key stakeholders and adjust designs/plans accordingly.
  • Work with your team to grow in-game economy models for the games you are leading.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to define, test, and manage several pricing strategies that improve monetization across different spender types.
  • Monitor trends and best practices, third-party tools/partnerships, and internal business intelligence.
  • Define, build, and manage key game features and mechanics that support the longevity, profitability, and vision of the product
  • Work closely with the design and other key stakeholders to define the product requirements and specifications, and lead throughout the development process
  • Scope and prioritize feature development initiatives to maximize ROI
  • Plan, prioritize and execute an in-depth analysis of the in-game economy, engagement, and monetization trends using data insights and strong business knowledge to build strategic recommendations for improvement
  • Track performance and communicate KPIs to key stakeholders and adjust designs/plans accordingly
  • Build, optimize and manage in-game economy models
  • Define, test, and manage various pricing strategies that optimize monetization across different spender types
  • Identify new monetization opportunities, and transform them into actionable practices  
  • Monitor competitive trends and best practices, third-party tools/partnerships, and internal business intelligence

Requirements:

  • You have minimum of 6+ years of experience in product management in consumer mobile games. 
  • Strong analytic skills and experience with data-driven product design and decision making
  • Experience in defining/drafting the product requirements and specifications with clear technical requirements, user flows, and wireframes 
  • Ability to prioritize development initiatives based on the business needs and the development cost
  • Experience in building and balancing in-game economies
  • Strong in Excel with the ability to create models and simulators for in-game economies
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with experience in communicating both creative and technical feedback to various groups of stakeholders
  • Strong passion for mobile gaming with a deep understanding of the freemium model
  • Worked in a fast-paced AGILE environment
  • Ability to narrow down abstract problems into actionable recommendations
  • Self-motivated team player that brings enthusiasm to the team
  • Open to various feedback and ability to think outside of the box
  • Avid mobile gamer
