Senior Software Engineer - Battlefield Mobile

If you’re interested in working with veteran mobile, console, and PC developers in creating new AAA experiences to reach billions of mobile players around the world we would like to hear from you!

We are looking for a software engineering generalist who can work on FPS gameplay systems, metagame systems and client technologies. Your experience and expertise allows you to contribute to work on something like the weapons or movement systems in the FPS and then move over to a metagame system like the login calendar. As a generalist, you are extremely comfortable with C++ and 3D math. Working with non-game centric technologies (like protobuffer, for example) is interesting to you. You are happy to go where you are most needed to help solve difficult problems.

Responsibilities

• Work on new and existing gameplay systems
• Work in various feature and engineering pods to deliver high quality (systems)
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality
• Mentor less experienced engineers

Required Skills

• Strong professional experience in C++
• Proficient with vector math as it pertains to games
• Experience in gameplay programming on shipped games
• Experience with custom game engines or UE4
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

• Good knowledge of game design
• Understanding best use cases for different data structures
• Mobile free to play game development experience

Bonus Skills

• FPS experience
• Fullstack game feature experience
