Position Title: Technical Director I

Ripple Effect, an evolution of Battlefield's DICE LA, is a Los Angeles and Vancouver-based game studio on a mission to build community-first experiences through continuous innovation and boundary breaking technology.

We are looking for a Technical Director like you with a drive for best-in-class game system development and a passion for technical excellence. You will have passion for technical leadership and are looking for an opportunity to be a leader in the development of exciting game projects. You will be challenged to learn EA’s Frostbite game engine and core game systems, and then direct new technology and extensions to these systems.

Role Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience 
• Extensive knowledge of C/C++
• Shipped game titles, preferably with console experience
• Knowledge of different game systems, such as physics, streaming, rendering, file systems and memory organization
• Experience managing a large code base with multiple simultaneous development branches
• Experience in concurrency, memory and performance optimization
• Self-driven with a strong sense of quality 
• Great collaborative skills that support an open working environment
