Senior Gameplay Engineer

The Sports Mobile team is founded on inclusivity, passion, innovation, and creativity with a mission to bring immersive sports gaming experiences built for mobile devices to millions of gamers around the world. With teams located in Canada, the United States, and Romania, the Sports Mobile team is powered by global talent and looking for passionate and creative new team members to build the future of mobile gaming.

We are looking for a Gameplay Engineer to join our diverse, talented and accomplished team to develop exciting features for a new IP. You will guide the innovation and excellence that establish a rewarding mobile experience. The Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager who oversees several cross-discipline team members and you will work directly with game designers, software engineers, and quality specialists to proto-type and experiment with gameplay features. As a part of the team, you will have the option to work in office, remotely, or a hybrid of the two.

You will guide the innovation and excellence that establish a rewarding mobile experience. You are motivated and have a passion for sport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prototype and refine gameplay mechanics.
• Work with designers to bring new ideas and features to life.
• Use industry experience to create and take ownership of unique and captivating experiences.
• Identify issues and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and testers. Share your ideas on how to make things better.

What a Gameplay Engineer needs to have:

• Passion for making and playing games.
• 5+ years C++.
• 3D gameplay experience. Strong math skills a benefit.
• Unity/C# experience a benefit.
• Industry experience shipping titles on Android/iOS.
• Work well with a team.
