Position Title: Sr Account Manager

External Description:

We are seeking a Sr. Commercial Manager for our Subscription Services on Microsoft’s Xbox and Sony’s PlayStation platforms. You will be responsible for driving the commercial execution of our digital product offerings and product launches for EA Access on Xbox and PlayStation platforms. Ultimately, you are responsible for ensuring that we achieve our subscriber targets and revenue commitments through day-to-day management of our placement, global pricing, and promotional activities on the platform storefronts and within the larger platform ecosystem. You will work with external partners and teams across EA at all levels of leadership to ensure that EA Access members are met with the most positive experiences when subscribing, playing and engaging with EA Access.

In this role, you will: 

  • Lead EA Access commercial and marketing discussions with Microsoft & Sony on a daily basis
  • Develop and lead joint business planning process for subscriptions with both Microsoft & Sony, including monthly business reviews of current performance vs the fiscal objective and future opportunity tracking
  • Negotiate full life-cycle subscription merchandising and placement plan on Xbox & PlayStation
  • Build data driven business cases for commercial programs and product feature development that increase subscription acquisition opportunities and deepen engagement in the subscription product
  • Lead subscription promotion planning, including modeling, for review and approval in Demand Review
  • Develop significant understanding of the business, financials, products, and the market as it pertains to our subscription services on Microsoft and Sony
  • Develop global go-to-market commercial strategies for EA Access on Xbox & PlaySation, and lead execution of integrated multi-channel campaigns to drive EA Access subscription on Console
  • Develop a standard approach for subscription and franchise marketing on console in collaboration with Microsoft, Sony, EA Marketing, and EA Publishing teams
  • Be the key point of contact for our Subscriptions on Console with internal stakeholders
  • Partner with Product Development, Brand Marketing, and Analytics teams to identify and evaluate new opportunities to grow live subscriptions across platforms and screens
  • Collaborate with the Global Digital Sales and Analytics teams to develop and report out on KPIs that provide deep insight into the trends and growth of the business and drive regular business reviews
  • Partner with EA marketing teams (e.g., Brand & Marcom functions) to implement EA Access acquisition focused marketing campaigns
  • Lead promotions reviews with compliance partners, including Licensing, Accounting, Legal, Finance

 

You bring with you:

  • 5+ years of product planning, commerce strategy, and digital product experience
  • Highly effective at building relationships with and influencing colleagues across all levels of the business
  • Able to manage, prioritize, and execute multiple projects at one given time
  • Able to extrapolate key insights from data to drive commercialization strategy
  • Able to diplomatically question and suggest alternative strategies both internally and externally
  • Articulate business opportunities and challenges across teams & distill for executive teams
  • Experience working with cross-functional groups, including marketing & product teams globally
