Position Title: Lead HRBP

External Description:

EA is looking for a standout professional to join our People Experience (HR) team supporting the Marketing and Communications organization. You will be based in Redwood City, CA and reports to the Sr. Director, People Experience Business Partnership. The ideal candidate has knowledge of and some experience in core HR disciplines including: Management Coaching and Consulting, Workforce Planning, Compensation, Recruiting, Organizational Development, Employee Relations, and Change Management. We are looking for impactful collaboration with business leaders and People Experience leaders across the discipline to implement solutions in consideration of our strategic talent priorities.

This is a hands-on role working with the creative global leaders at the forefront of gaming.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Coach senior leaders to create exceptional employee experiences that attract, retain and provide development plans for talent across the organization
  • Work closely with regional People Experience partners to ensure local actions are tied to global strategies and global decisions are informed by local requirements around the world.
  • Partner with COE partners, People Operations and other internal partners to ensure the development of important talent programs (e.g. Talent Planning, Compensation Planning, Goal Setting) are pulled through the Marcom organization at all levels.
  • Work with leadership to conduct organization reviews and other analyses to monitor the health of our client group, ensuring ongoing organizational capability to meet our goals. Champion recommendations for change where appropriate.
  • Partner with leadership and line managers on planning and communications related to change management, and working through organizational to drive role clarity at the individual and team level.
  • Use internal tools and resources to partner with leaders in building strategic workforce plans that empower the Talent Acquisition team to recruit the best into EA at the right time and in the right locations.
  • Create HR metrics and provide reports to support management decision-making. Work with managers to ensure accuracy of employee and organizational data, taking overall ownership for data accuracy within HRIT systems.
  • Lead and serve as a primary team member on projects that support strategic talent programs with assigned teams and across the People Experience function.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years’ Human Resources experience in a progressive environment OR equivalent business experience with an educational background in HR.
  • Insightful about how people will be affected as a result of business decisions.
  • Can balance compassion and toughness in coaching others
  • Solid consulting and coaching skills - able to build relationships by establishing trust, credibility and adding value quickly across all levels.
  • Independent thinker and able to quickly sort through information, form a point of view, and develop solutions
  • Comfort with data with the ability to improve organizational performance by analyzing and applying important data to our decisions and planning
  • Bachelor’s Degree required;
  • Recent MBA or Master’s graduates preferred
