We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced engineer ready to jump into game runtime and tools development behind an exciting title. As part of the game team, you will collaborate closely with your lead to build new systems or customize low-level features for the game.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain core engine components on multiple hardware platforms, for example, memory and performance management, AI, and animation.
• Embrace a problem-solving mindset with a focus on practical development of robust features
• Work with EA’s internal shared technology groups to improve technology across the company
• Become an expert in EA's internal technology and be a key contributor

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with game engine development on shipped titles
• Strong C++ and software architecture skills
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Ability to familiarize quickly with existing internal and external code systems, in addition to extending
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Innovative mindset with focus on how to improve product quality as well as group productivity

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience writing code C#, Python, and Lua
• Familiarity with UI tooling (WPF, Android layouts, Winforms, etc.)
