The Challenge Ahead:

We are offering an internship from September 2018 to March 2019, where you will support the EA Corporate Communication / EA Brand team in Germany.

What an EA Brand Corporate Communications Intern does at EA:

  • Creating postings and updating the German EA Brand social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
  • Reviewing contents for the website of Electronic Arts Germany (www.ea.com/de-de), including news, videos, graphics and screenshots.
  • Research and aid the creation of articles for the global EA Content Team, potentially also writing stories for the global channels on his/her own.
  • Managing projects in the online environment (competitions, online coverage of events, optimizing individual areas of the ea.com web site).
  • Creating traffic and social reports of individual digital channels of EA and conducting SEO optimization measures.
  • Supporting the German marketing team at local events and on-site marketing activations.

The next great EA Brand Corporate Communications Intern also needs:

  • Studying for an undergraduate degree, in journalism or marketing related subject
  • The ability to work independently
  • Previous editorial and/or copywriting experience
  • Good writing style
  • Keen perception
  • Analytical mind, strength and flexibility
  • Native level of German, as well as business level written and spoken English
  • Basic knowledge of image editing software (preferably Adobe Photoshop).
  • Basic skills in working with a content management system (CMS), HTML knowledge, user knowledge of social media
  • In-depth knowledge and passion for the video games market
  • Knowledge in the areas of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is an advantage, but not required
