Position Title: User Interface Artist 2

External Description:

We’re looking for a highly talented and dedicated Digital Designer who thrives in fast paced development and live service environments. In this diverse role, you will design, build and implement our mobile games user interfaces, from initial flows and wireframes, through to prototypes and final in game layouts in addition to animations and effects.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Work within an existing and ongoing UI design with graphical and technical limitations.
  • Create and produce artwork in accordance with the direction of the Art Lead, Designer and Producer.
  • Design and implement an aesthetically beautiful, innovative and friendly user experience.
  • Quickly previsualize designs for approval.
  • Report status of the project to all key stakeholders across studio functions.
  • Work closely with designers and programmers to implement and problem solve designs.
  • Work within a small, motivated team and communicate effectively.

 

You Will Have

  • Proven industry experience in UI development for video games, web or digital platforms.
  • A strong design portfolio
  • A well-rounded knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash or After Effects
  • Ability to quickly learn in-house UI development tools
  • The ability to conceptualize abstract concepts into impressive on-screen visuals and animation
  • Efficient and speedy work practices for quick turn-around time under deadline pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills
  • Knowledge of current UX Design methodologies an advantage.
