 You will report to Automation Engineer, Financial Analytics, and will be a key team member in the Financial Systems and Analytics team .

Role Overview:

 Finance plays a pivotal role managing the company's financial performance. The Financial Systems & Analytics (FS&A) team is responsible for driving the tools, data and culture for the Finance team to help EA achieve its strategic and business goals through effective and efficient planning, analysis, decision support and performance management. This position is for a passionate systems senior analyst to support the design, build and support/maintenance of financial systems that are used across the finance organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as SME for our principal financial forecasting and reporting systems (Anaplan and Power BI) and provide user support, training and knowledge sharing to various finance teams.
  • Lead efforts in driving system enhancement and issue resolution for our financial reporting systems from ideation through implementation and stabilization.
  • Foster collaboration and drive process and system improvements in partnership with the Financial Systems and Analytics team, and partners across the Finance and IT teams.
  • Develop training and onboarding material for EA’s Financial planning and reporting systems.
  • Own and manage processes surrounding the facilitation of EA’s quarterly financial forecasts to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Work as part of a small team to drive the data validation process and participate in the sign-off process on Total EA forecast scenarios lock.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to assist strategizing the long-term roadmap of EA’s finance tech ecosystem.
  • Collaborate on Proof-of-Concept activities managed through the Financial Systems and Analytics team to build out the future tool-set for our Finance teams
  • Display a passion for data quality and consistency, and work with business and IT teams to help to organise and standardize this data, and with Finance teams to build a data culture within these groups.

EA's next great Senior Financial Systems Analyst needs to have:

Educational

  • Bachelor's degree with a preference for Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting
  • Extra considerations for Graduate degrees
  • 4+ years' experience in finance, accounting or business analytics supporting a technology organization. Technical
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, VBA, SQL. • Expertise in Excel
  • Experience with Oracle and Anaplan
  • Data modeling and analytics
  • Experience with the following: – Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) – Structured Query Language (SQL) – Python or R Other.
  • Highly motived with an ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing projects / priorities.
  • Comfortable building analysis based off data from multiple sources.
  • Comfortable tackling vague projects, resolving them in imaginative and practical ways.
  • Extreme attention to detail with a rigorous process for review of accuracy.
  • Excellent oral / written communication and interpersonal skills that enable clear and concise communication to all levels of the organization.
