Position Title: Sr Manager Engineering

DRE (Development and Release Engineering) are EA’s continuous integration and build experts. We are a team of over 100, located in EA studios across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

We pride ourselves on providing automation services to our internal development partners - EA's game, engine, product, and content teams.

We are seeking a passionate individual to join our DRE team based in Stockholm.

Responsibilities

• You will be the primary Development and Release Engineering teams contact for Battlefield Development Directors
• You will work closely with DRE Battlefield Technical Directors, and support them with all the project management needs
• You will support capacity & resource planning
• You will own the DRE Project plan (sprints, milestones, roadmaps) for Glacier.
• You will manage the project management process and practice gaps 
• You will be responsible for project reporting (KPIs, risks, issues). 
• Delivering on Battlefield’s DRE engagement, this Development Director partners closely with Creative Technologies leaders and manages product dependencies that impact Battlefield’s plan.

• Lead funding discussions with game team
• Resource allocation & forecasting 
• Team goal tracking & reporting
• Team hardware & discretionary budget 
• Prepare business cases & hiring requests
• Manage cloud budgets & work with TAMs to justify costs based on business needs

Experience

Our ideal candidate has prior experience as a manager in software development or operations. They have demonstrated excellent leadership qualities, possess a high business acumen, and can also bring exciting new talents and ideas to the table.

• Effective communication skills across all levels of an organization
• Project or Agile Service management experience
• A pragmatic approach to problem-solving
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams
