The Role:

We at EA Sports have reached the next level of cohesion and craft by evolving into a modern Experience Design practice that brings UX and UI together, understanding that neither exists in a vacuum. The team is passionate and committed to developing an immersive player experience within FC. You will use your creativity, passion and knowledge of experience design, branding, and modern UI/UX practices to develop leading edge experiences for highly engaged Football Club fans. You will work closely with the Game Design Director and your partners from the Experience Design Team, Engineering, Game Design, Production, Art Direction and Creative Direction to create experiences that surprise, delight and inspire millions of players around the world to play. Responsibilities:

  • Craft visuals, interactive components, animations, and text for new or existing features, ensuring functionality and player engagement..

  • Create the graphic content, visual brand identity expression, layout, composition, iconography, typography, and photo editing.

  • Apply and adapt existing design systems to maintain consistency across new and existing features.

  • Create high fidelity compositions that align with the product's experience goals, usability and accessibility standards, and brand in pixel perfect format.

  • Contribute to creative sessions, brainstorms, and mood board preparation.

  • Partner with Experience Designers, Design Directors, Producers, Product & Content Managers, and Engineering to understand their goals, vision and requirements for a feature and support them from a visual design point of view.

  • Understand how the EA audience works with its games/services, and make use of this knowledge in the development of art content.

  • You will report to XD Manager responsible for product design development.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of relevant experience creating graphic content for digital platforms.

  • You are passionate about your craft, curiosity, and willingness to develop new skills and to use new design tools.

  • Great graphic/visual design skills, including screen layout, composition, typography, color theory, illustration, and iconography.

  • You are comfortable presenting and rationalizing design explorations and decisions to diverse audiences, using these opportunities to gather collaborative feedback.

  • Awareness and application of modern usability and accessibility principles.

Nice to have:

  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe Suite, and other visual design tools.

  • Motion design experience (After Effects, Flash)

It is required you share a portfolio or work samples, inclusive of unique and original designs for web, mobile, or console platforms.
