Position Title: Sr Software Engineer I

About the Role

As a Senior AI Solutions Architect reporting to the Director of AI Engineering. You will architect and oversee the delivery of applications providing new experiences and capabilities using Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities. You will collaborate with product managers and software engineers to create solution designs that meet product requirements and will be used by software engineers to develop scalable, secure, and efficient applications and services. You enjoy being hands-on with technology, writing code and creating proof-of-concepts that help you stay up to date with the rapidly changing technology advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

● You will be the lead architect designing and delivering solutions using new capabilities provided by Generative AI
● Create detailed solution architecture and design models, including logical, process, development, physical, and scenario views.
● Work closely with product managers to gather requirements and timelines. Collaborate with software engineers to ensure the delivery of solutions that exceed product requirements.
● Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
● Deliver solutions that are highly available, fault-tolerant, flexible, stable, self-healing, and globally redundant.
● Apply excellent enterprise architecture skills to develop scalable and robust AI solutions
● Experience managing an architecture or engineering team and have been responsible for their professional and technical growth, and the solution delivery

Experience:

● 10+ years’ experience architecting and developing software and infrastructure solutions
● Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
● Experience with AI or Generative AI applications and solutions
● Proven record of architecting and delivering enterprise grade solutions
● Experience creating detailed architecture and design models
● Experience being “hands-on” with technology, directly creating proof-of-concepts
(POC’s) and writing software
● Experience as a Scrum Master and overseeing the planning and delivery of complex
solutions

Skills:

● Extensive knowledge of enterprise technologies and a proven track record of architecting and deploying robust, scalable, secure, and efficient solutions
● Experience with Generative AI models, services, and solutions.
● Experienced in creating model enterprise architecture and design models

● Experience prototyping and developing solutions in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and C#
● Experience clearly communicating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
● Extensive knowledge of AWS and Azure services and how to leverage the benefits of
cloud services

Beneficial Experience:

● Relevant certifications in cloud architecture or AI technologies
● Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers.
● You love to be creative, solve complex problems, pay close attention to detail, and
work in an exciting team
