We are seeking an Associate Game Designer to become an essential part of our Live Ops team. In this role, you'll assist the Live Services Lead in executing LiveOps campaigns in a fast-paced environment. Your key responsibilities will include executing LiveOps strategies to boost player engagement, retention, and monetization. You will report to Associate Game Design Director.
What You’ll do:
- Responsible for the execution of all live ops campaigns including but not limited to series, season launches, promotions, etc.
- Collaborate with the Game Writer to develop compelling and thematic in-game content.
- Regularly tune event difficulties, flow, and pacing according to target metrics.
- Execute content strategies through new arrivals, prizes, event restrictions, fashion packs, feature packs, and fashion passes daily, weekly, and monthly according to target metrics.
- Lead ideation of series, props, Covet Collection pieces, and hair accessories
- Partner with the Art team on the assets design process
- Understand and analyze the game economy to provide actionable insights to the game team for continuous improvements.
- Ensure a high level of quality assurance due to the live environment.
- Advocate on behalf of the live player base, understanding their composition and perspectives.
- Responsible for keeping documents updated.
You'll be a great fit if you have:
- Proven experience of 1+ years of experience in a live operation or similar roles within the mobile gaming industry.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in using development planning tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Passion for mobile games and a deep understanding of player behavior.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Office and Google suites.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working directly with partners to plan project deliveries.
- Strong sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail.
- Well-versed in current global pop cultures, lifestyle, and fashion trends.
- Possess a deep understanding and appreciation of various cultures, along with an awareness of cultural sensitivities.
- Having a background in fashion is a plus.
