As a Producer on the team, you will partner with team leaders to help plan and guide the delivery of game experiences within the live service. You will be involved in live services development and closely partner with operations, content, and internal stakeholders.

Producers are the bridge between the design team and project managers, overseeing what experiences we build, why we build them, and managing the delivery of them to our players.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Producer at EA
    • Establish roadmaps for game experiences and prioritize backlog items, aligning with the broader goals of EA SPORTS titles and EA.
    • Use insights to create feature goals that focus on ideation and spur creativity across the team.
    • Guide team culture as part of the leadership team to build a highly engaged team.
    • Work with Production, Art, Design, and Engineering leads to improve quality, communication and coordination.
    • Partner with Development Directors to manage the project schedule, milestones and sprint deliverables.
    • Partner with Art, UX, Engineering, QA, and Design teams to ensure the quality and timeliness of all deliverables are met. Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholder communication.
    • Engage with other partner teams including publishing, marketing, finance, legal, consumer insights, and game analytics.
    • You will be the bridge between the Design team and Project Managers, overseeing what experiences we build, why we build them, and managing the delivery of them to our players.
    • You will report to the production leader of your area.
  • Product Owner for the in-game messaging team and system
    • Your ultimate goal as the Product Owner for messaging is to increase acquisition, engagement, and monetization across all modes through the use of messaging and personalization. 
    • Comprehend our player segmentation strategy and employ data analytics to design in-game messaging campaigns that prioritize user experience and align with the objectives of Madden's live service operations.
    • Define and articulate the vision for in-game messaging activations, providing clear scope direction and risk assessment, and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
    • Monitor and communicate OKRs/KPIs, and establish "Done" criteria.
    • Oversee staffing and onboarding processes; assign tasks and supervise team assignments and work quality.
    • Oversee management of proprietary software, including documentation, testing, and YOY development.
    • Conduct build reviews, act as primary POC for messaging in all meetings, emails, and slack messages, and design A/B experiments.
    • Stay informed on content, social, and digital trends and best practices within and beyond the gaming industry.

 

Your Qualifications:

  • An experienced Producer with 6+ years of experience in game production, product management, or similar roles.
  • Ability to manage high-volume scheduling for various groups with multiple deadlines.
  • A love for working with a diverse group of people to accomplish something great as a team.
  • A passion for pioneering and encouraging others to consider different perspectives.
  • A master of influence, helping others understand and become passionate about their work.
  • An accomplished mediator and resolver of conflicts.
  • Experience leading cross-discipline teams toward common goals.
  • Experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments characteristic of live service operations.
  • Familiar with Scrum and Agile development concepts.
  • Experienced in A/B experimentation and using data and insights to inform decision making.
  • Experienced in understanding player motivation and target audiences.
  • Experience with content management systems, content programming, or ad trafficking tools.
  • Expertise in quality control checks, in-depth troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with tools like Asana, Jaas, Confluence, and Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of football, the NFL, and Madden.
  • Experience in the Marketing Automation, CRM, marketing data, marketing technology, or Ad Tech fields.
  • Understanding of basic programming language principles and logic.
  • Experience with writing, reading, and/or approving copy.
