And with this anticipated title under development, EA SPORTS is looking for a diverse range of talent, who are passionate about what they do, to help bring the game to life.

As a central team within the College Football project, we deliver the tools that are used by Live Content producers to support many dynamic features in our game. As such, you would work with our internal customers to design and implement new features and upgrade the existing features. So, whether you prefer working on new functionality, improving existing implementation, or fixing production issues, you will have the chance to contribute to applications that have an impact across the entire College Football game. This Tools Software Engineer will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

This is a hybrid position that requires you to work remotely and onsite at our EA Orlando location.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build an internal toolset designed to empower our content developers to create rich, high-quality content for multiple online game modes.
  • Work with multiple clients within a unified platform to create features for our content creation system and pipeline.
  • Resolve defects during QA testing, pre production, production and from the live environment.
  • Develop full-stack web applications used to manage live service content for large live service platforms and environments.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • 3+ years of experience with C++ and Java or C#
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with Angular, React, Bootstrap, LESS/Grunt/Webpack
  • Experience with SQL or MySQL
  • Experience developing full-stack applications that are well designed, maintainable, and reliable.
