  • Partner with Tech Anim and Engineering to implement solutions that are robust, performant, and scalable.
  • Collaborate with Animation, Narrative Design, and other disciplines to build functional pipelines in-engine, which you’ll eventually develop into shippable solutions.
  • Develop tools and systems to automate asset validation and quality control.
  • Develop a scalable pipeline to streamline scene assembly for cinematic shots, that manages the necessary dependencies between Maya and Unreal."
  • Provide troubleshooting support to the relevant Art and Animation Teams, primarily for tools in Maya and Unreal.
  • Provide feedback to external partners and help ensure their work meets our quality bar and performance standards.

  • Strong communication skills: we’ll be relying on you to understand the needs of your peers while being able to communicate your own.
  • Extensive experience in writing and maintaining Artist/Animator facing tools for relevant software (Python/PySide).
  • Experience maintaining and adding to tools documentation, making tutorial videos, and creating best practices guides.
  • Experience working with both keyframe animation and motion capture data.
  • Experience building or contributing to a facial animation pipeline.
  • Experience working with external vendors/partners.
  • Experience working with an engine-side scripting solution (Blueprint or equivalent).
  • Experience on 2 or more shipped titles.
