Ripple Effect, an evolution of Battlefield's DICE LA, is a Los Angeles and Vancouver--based game studio on a mission to build community-first experiences through continuous innovation and boundary breaking technology.

We are looking for an Engineer Line Manager like you to join us in our studio’s mission to create amazing games and experiences, and to elevate ourselves and our craft. We seek someone who is passionate about growing and mentoring great people. You will mentor engineers to grow their long-term skills, and identify and achieve career goals. You will also partner with other craft team line managers to create and drive studio initiatives, and help develop and enhance our studio high performance culture.

This role will report to our Studio Line Director. We are considering on-site and hybrid working options, and welcome full-time remote candidates who are within the US or Canada to apply.

 

Responsibilities:

• Coaching, mentoring, and career development for game engineers
• Resource and talent planning for craft team
• Performance and salary reviews
• Identify talent opportunities for the engineering team and drive recruitment 
• Partner with line managers from other crafts to grow and develop Ripple Effect’s Line Organization 

 

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a game engineer
• 4+ years of experience in a management or leadership role
• A passion for mentoring and growing people
