Team Overview

At our CrowdStar studio, we believe that there is a huge opportunity in interactive entertainment products and CrowdStar's goal is to build products which engage, enrich and empower users.

 

Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Engineering team and help support our newly announced title, Table & Taste. You will report to the Technical Director to develop and support applications and game features, build pipelines, and client and backend developer tools. Above all, you have a passion for making tools that improves productivity

Responsibilities:

  • Build and integrate a wide set of development, pipelines and administrative tools
  • You will create build pipelines and automation
  • Create logging, performance and monitoring tools for backend and client
  • You will develop reliable estimates for tasks, and be able to propose alternatives to save on implementation time
  • Contribute to and uphold good production processes and coding practices

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of PHP, JS, HTML and CSS development experience
  • Experience maintaining source code and automating in GitLab
  • Expertise building web-based, desktop or native application tools
  • Experience with toolsets for profiling and optimizing backend and client systems

 

Bonus Points

  • Expertise building layout and localization tools
  • Experience with Unity/C# and working in games or a Unity vertical
  • Expertise on creating and integrating performance and monitoring tools
