OVERVIEW:

The Vice President, Global Brand Management will oversee product marketing and global brand strategy for all franchises developed by Respawn Studios, including Apex Legends, and Star Wars. You will report into the Senior Vice President, Global Brand for EA Games (non-sports).

Working in close partnership with studio leadership, you will be the business leader that sits at the intersection of product, marketing and commercial. You will help steer our product offering to players, set the overall creative vision for consumer marketing, and guide the long-term franchise strategy.

The brand leader guides the product vision through EA's Global Publishing Organization, to ensure that the consumer and product vision is reflected in all marketing, sales, digital and lifecycle activity, globally. As a senior member of EA's Marketing team, you will help lead the team, and EA's overall marketing efforts to greater innovation, speed and effectiveness.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In close collaboration with studio and leadership teams, establish a multi-year franchise plan that delivers quality and drives growth, by anticipating consumer play needs and marketplace opportunities across platforms and geographies.
  • Lead the product marketing strategy and demand creation for Respawn games and live services including product/service feature sets, defining and understanding audience segments, product positioning, brand architecture, business models, launch timing and driving the brand brief throughout the business.
  • Maintain partnership with licensor partners, always ensuring business agreement and collaboration.
  • Ensure that data and consumer insights are used to make consumer focused decisions and power Respawn's games and services.
  • Provide the Brand leadership that defines the Marketing roles, accountabilities and deliverables from product creation through live service.
  • Financial responsibility for brand management and consumer marketing strategies, initiatives, and advertising related efforts for Respawn developed franchises.
  • Partner with the Global Publishing Organization and Finance in forecasting and demand planning and identifying growth opportunities around the globe.
  • Support the continued transformation of EA's Marketing Organization from a traditional, packaged goods-centric team to a direct to consumer, digital organization.
  • Develop overarching vision for optimal player journeys that ensure cross-title incentives to build the network capabilities and ecosystem.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience directing a department of marketing professionals, within the entertainment, online, and games industry. Experience with Action and First-Person Shooter genres is ideal.
  • Launching games with direct-to-consumer digital live service business success.
  • Success developing creative consumer strategies, mass market marketing ideas, brand marketing, and direct to consumer performance-based marketing.
  • Broad experience within market research, product positioning, consumer promotions, online innovation and stellar creative development
  • Experience working on cutting edge, leading brands that have strong consumer awareness and interest.
  • Experience with digital product offerings on console, mobile and PC platforms.
  • Exercise a high degree of influence and team performance of team members, managers, peers, outside agencies and executive management.
  • Create exciting, break through marketing plans.
  • Capability of working with senior executives.
