Position Title: Senior Manager, Esports General Management

External Description:

Competitive Gaming Entertainment (CGE) at EA is built around creating engaging programs that bring the thrill of competition to fans around the world.

As part of the FIFA E-sports Business Operations team, you will have vast experience in product management, financial and business analysis. You will build process excellence, oversee cost management and help maintain and expand controls and data reporting for teams, projects and products within the FIFA E-sports League. You will work with internal departments and FIFA E-sports leadership to improve insights to help produce better products to drive monetization and viewership goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new processes, anticipate requirements, identify areas for improvement, and ensure solutions meet our needs
  • Lead ongoing audits of internal processes and develop optimization strategies that drive operational efficiency and promote business excellence
  • Document all department procedures
  • Layer expert insight on top of data to support recommendations and relate them to business efficiency or league strategy
  • Provide applicable recommendations and conclusions from data to shape league biz ops and marketing roadmaps
  • Manage complex projects and budgets for multiple events and programmes
  • Initiate POs and work with CGE's finance department to track vendor invoicing and payments
  • Report on budget and cost progression for partner contracts
  • Support headcount forecasting, tracking and requisition approval
  • Build dashboards and create reports to promote awareness and understanding of important metrics to support FIFA Esports Front Office team and CGE department leads
  • Help with production-focused operational and logistical management tasks, such as Facilities requests related to office build-outs, studio construction or other large-scale projects
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest process and technical advancements to automate and modernise systems
  • Manage Products within the Bus Ops remit

Experience:

  • Demonstrate the highest standards of accuracy
  • Experience coordinating and consolidating inputs across multiple departments
  • Product management skills, with successful, customer-facing results
  • Solid knowledge of general accounting, budgeting and business planning processes
  • Conceptual thinking skills
  • Advanced technical skills and documentation skills
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
  • Experience in video game, software, sports, E-sports or entertainment industries

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years experience as a Product Manager, financial or business analyst or in a related capacity
