Position Title: Sr Software Engineer I

External Description:

We are looking for an accomplished Sr Software Engineer to join an experienced team of developers working on an exciting new mobile game. This is an opportunity for you to join a veteran team and help create the vision and execution of a compelling, creative, and immersive experience. You will report to the Technical Director and collaborate with Designers, Artists and other Engineers

Expectations

• You will join this newly-formed team as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to team on a variety of tasks as one of the early members of an experienced coding team.
• You will help us establish best practices for game system implementation
• Write technical designs based on gathered requirements
• Provide high-quality code review feedback
• Work in a distributed team environment

Technical Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience
• 6+ years of game development experience with 3+ years in a related role
• Experience with Unity and C#
• Experienced in mobile development for iOS and Android

Required Non-Technical Skills

• A sense of empathy and an understanding of service leadership
• Demonstrate dependability and commitment to projects/tasks
• Desire to work with other game developers in a cooperative team environment

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience implementing online multiplayer game systems
• Typescript and Angular proficiency
• Avid gamer with a passion for creating top-quality games
• 4x and strategy genre experience
