The Role: 

As a Lead Creative Services Artist, you will be working with brand and marketing leads to develop ideas on how to advertise our brand, creating a shared vision, and generating creative content to complete projects. Projects will include graphic design, illustration, and video production.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicating visual concepts via illustration.
• Demonstrate understanding of color, composition, layout, and lighting.
• Utilizing a strong knowledge of both typography and color theory.
• The ability to deliver work of a high standard while retaining accuracy when working with tight deadlines.
• Establishing creative direction in collaboration with Art leads and ensuring the look and feel of each game title is carried through all assets and evolved when required.
• Find solutions in order to find a clear balance between communication and design.
• Cropping, optimizing and localizing assets using commercial software solutions and in-house tools.
• Creatively engage with stakeholders during every phase of the production process.
• Collaborate with writers and artists to create scripts and boards for video content.
• Occasionally contribute to the game team on completing deliverables.

Required Skills/Personal Requirements:

• Experience leading a team of artists on a video game project
• Experience in the creation of marketing assets for video games or interactive web content.
• Must possess strong user interface, UX and graphic layout skills, painting, compositing as well as typographic sensibilities.
• Able to adapt easily to different styles
• Creative and innovative spirit communicates effectively and contributes to the team atmosphere
• Works well under deadline pressure and multiple iterations during the development process
• Collaborate with third parties to create exciting advertising content
• Excellent Photoshop expertise 
• Experience with Maya, the ability to exploit our game models to make content for advertising
• A love of video games will help! 

Bonus / Nice to Have

• A background in advertising
• Experience directing a film project
• After Effects expertise
