Summary

 

The Security DevOps Administrator position is a highly technical role that plays a pivotal role in security risk management across EA. Our IR Engineering team implements a broad portfolio of security projects and helps innovate creative solutions to difficult problems in challenging situations.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

• Perform operational upkeep duties for security IR tools (current, future and custom developed), custom modules developed, including updating tools to new versions regularly. This includes back-end infrastructure and storage required for tools to be functional.
• Provide ad-hoc support to developers and analysts where required.
• Execute on our tactical and strategic security project portfolio to enhance existing platforms, or to deliver brand new systems.
• Development of scripts and configuration management items for system deployment and management
• Work closely with EA Security Incident Response team to develop new features for existing custom tools.
• Work closely with our internal partners and vendors for timely delivery of projects and support resolution of issues that affect our ability to operate effectively.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify gaps and recommendations for tools to ultimately remediate risks to EA.

 

 

 

 

 

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

 

• Enterprise Windows (10/Server 2012R2/2016) and CentOS administration VMWare/Vsphere
• Experience with any one of AWS/Azure/GCP
• Familiar with CI/CD concepts and methodologies, e.g: Jenkins
• Maintaining and deploying systems to security best practices
• Ability to program/script in Python and Ruby
• Configuration Management and Orchestration using Chef etc.
• Familiarity with one or more of MongoDB/PostgreSQL/Elasticsearch
• Experience working with distributed environments – global deployments of technology and people
• Appreciation for security technologies and methodologies
• Previous experience working in the security industry desirable but not essential
