 Our team, Automations group is responsible for Implementing the automation across all the enterprise applications and data services that support all employees throughout EA. 

Our goal is to maintain and provide reliable services in an automated way to all employees that help each and every EA employee do their job and contribute to the goal of EA making the world’s greatest games.

What will you be doing? 

We are hiring an Automations Engineer. This person will join automations team who focus on delivering reliable employee services to all EA Employees and improve user experience by understanding the way EA employees work.

The automations engineer will have a strong coding background with in-depth knowledge on systems. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the automations solutions that are technically most challenging.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

As an automations engineer, you will be responsible for:

 

• Design and Implement process automations and slack bots.
• Learning new technologies and building integrations into the platforms.
• Assess automation opportunity from technical perspective and perform due diligence to arrive at an optimal solution.
• Design and implement the workflows for RPA use cases.
• Anticipate, identify, track and resolve technical issues and risks affecting delivery
• Work with the RPA team to build the implementation plan for each automation.
• Assist Support teams to resolve issues
• Coordinate and participate in structured peer reviews and walkthroughs
• Implementing end to end solution for the automation opportunities.

 

 

Technical Skills:  

• Experience in one or more of the following: Node JS, Python, Perl or Ruby
• Understanding of cloud platform services (AWS, Google GCP, Azure)
• Python and Node.js development experience is a must
• General knowledge of the following technologies
• HTTP
• SSL
• DNS
• MySQL / SQL, MySQL
• Networking (routing, load balancing, firewalls, tcp/ip, udp)
• SSH / SCP
• Windows and Linux server management
• Basic understanding of machine learning and AI concepts and solutions
• Excellent technical troubleshooting skills

If you’re interested in this role, you’ll need:

• 2+ years of hands-on automation experience using Automation Anywhere, or UI Path 
• Experience working on AWS services.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to multi-task, delegate, prioritize tasks, evaluate and manage risk
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
• Ability to balance the pressures of a fast-paced operations with the need for a fun, productive group and environment
• Excellent technical skills
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing business models and Organization structures
