External Description:

The EAX Experience Design team is responsible for the user experience and product design of websites, web & mobile applications as well as core services that drive awareness around our games, then help our players get the most out of them.  

We strive to create the most usable, engaging and boundary pushing experiences possible, and we're looking for a passionate intern who's intent on doing the same. 

Collaborating with a team of UX Architects, Researchers, and Interface Designers, you'll experience the full spectrum of the products design process. Everything from ideation and conceptualization, to designing and implementing your ideas.

Qualifications 

• You are able to guide the design process from framing a challenge, to research and insights, to concept and implementation 
• You speak in a visual language. You’ve got a knack for succinctly capturing thoughts and expressing them to others. You have a strong design voice and point of view on where to go and why
• You are currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field of study 
• Familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, various prototyping tools i.e Invision or Framer. 
• Bonus points for showing familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS. 

 

Job Responsibilities 

• Quickly yet thoroughly create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors for multiple environments and audiences 
• Align business requirements, design methodologies, and technology factors to create on-brand designs for future state exploration, validation, and testing 
• Leverage and contribute a Design System, driving consistency, modularity, and a visual design language.
