Position Title: Software Engineer III

External Description:

EA Sports Mobile is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our operations team which is responsible for the deployment, monitoring, security and cost control of our server infrastructure for Mobile Sports Games including FIFA, Madden and NBA.

Our operations team builds and maintains automation systems for deploying and monitoring our more than 800 infrastructure elements in data centers around the world. We support deployments in AWS Worldwide and private data centers in China. We use tools including Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk. And our servers host millions of daily users with 99.9+% up-time. With more games in more territories, we need to expand our team to ensure our services continue to provide a world-class experience for our players.

Qualifications:

• Script programming in languages like Python, Perl, Bash or similar is required.
• Deployment automation using tools such as Chef, Puppet, Terraform, CloudFormation or similar is required.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-a-service using AWS, Azure or similar is highly desired.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems like ELK, Splunk, Nagios, PagerDuty, etc is a plus.
