DICE (EA Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment), the award-winning developer based in Stockholm, Sweden, is best known for creating the phenomenally successful Battlefield franchise with the widely acclaimed Battlefield 1 being the latest installment. But also the creators behind Star Wars Battlefront and Mirrors Edge.

The Challenge Ahead

It is important to us that our VFX-artist has a deep understanding of how to create high quality visual effects for real-time game engine. We also see that you have experience with at least one major 3D package creating particles/dynamics and particle expressions (e.g. MAYA, 3Ds Max, Houdini). Knowledge of, and experience with high-end VFX for film is a plus but you must understand the limitations of real-time engines. Having a shipped game title under your belt is also a big plus, but contributions to film/tv productions will also be weighed in.

You will be responsible for developing animation, gameplay and atmospheric effects to enhance the gamer’s experience throughout the game. This is a crucial role for the studio and we want to find that VFX-artist who can push us to the next level. You will be following the vision of the Art Director and Creative Directors vision for the game and work closely together with the studios art team.
