This person will ensure Operations readiness and success for both planned and unplanned change management initiatives. They will advocate and champion for operational success connecting teams with the right deployment groups, informing strategic and operational decisions for CE and our players. This person will be in a constant pursuit of simple, effective and inclusive change, removing blockers and setting solution paths that achieve our goals.

This role is part of EA’s Customer Experience organization. The Customer Experience organization strives to make EA known for taking care of its players. We’re players taking care of players and people talking to people – whenever, wherever, and however they need us.

 

  So how does the Change Manager make great experiences for players? As an individual contributor you:

  • understand the key principles of change management and how to successfully manage planned / unplanned change with little impact on people, business performance and our players
  • provide guidance to Leadership on the change planning cycle to maximize the benefits and minimize change fatigue for both internal groups and our players
  • champion change acceptance through creation of an agile culture and empower others to deliver change by building capability at all levels
  • Influence across CE to ensure our resources, people and technology, are structured in such a way that change is quick and easy 
  • assist in the implementation of business initiatives, stakeholder engagement and program design  
  • create operational plans that ensure excellence in post launch support through guidance and facilitation in initial phases and excellent change execution planning
  • can manage planned / unplanned change initiatives as they arise, and from a variety of sources, including priority setting, value identification, triaging and mitigation techniques with follow-up and resolution, to avoid unnecessary performance impacts.
  • develop a last mile excellence cycle to review performance in critical deployments and set a foundation for continued operational growth
  • coordinate retrospective reviews to listen and learn and implement the necessary actions to ensure we continuously improve our approach
  • build great relationships with key partners to gain understanding of their needs and influence strategic direction. Close information gaps by connecting Operations teams and other groups
  • operate an inclusive change management environment ensuring all variables are accounted for and involved.

 

If you’re interested in this role, you’ll need these skills or experiences:

 

  • a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and / or equivalent experience within business and operations change management
  • 5 or more years of experience in the gaming or digital industry at mid / senior Management level
  • experience in supporting global operations teams through all elements of change
  • exceptional persuasion and influence skills with the ability to connect people and ideas - fast
  • a proven track record of process development and continuous improvement
  • the ability to interpret and escalate risks to appropriate stakeholders
  • a tenacious attitude to determine the “why?” and question the value added
