EA's India studio is on the lookout for Associate Quality Designer to join our dynamic team. Operating within a hybrid remote work model, we offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of high-quality mobile gaming experiences. Collaborate with a talented team that has contributed to top-10 freemium iOS games like Covet Fashion, Design Home, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, and Diner Dash Adventures. Our studio's culture is built on promoting creativity to create world-class mobile games for players across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration: Partner with development, production, and design teams to enhance player experiences. Contribute to feature planning, data analysis, and comprehensive feature/design reviews.
  • Quality Testing: Perform game testing, bug reporting, and offer constructive feedback for game quality improvement.
  • Test Planning: Create end-to-end test plans tailored to your area, ensuring comprehensive quality assessment.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Use internal and external data to establish a data-centric verification strategy for enhanced quality.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Lead knowledge-sharing projects across QA teams, promoting ongoing process improvement.

What you'll contribute to: You'll help enhance gaming experiences, driving decisions through data analysis, and collaborating within a team environment. Your testing expertise will directly help maintain the quality of our mobile games.

How success will be measured: Your progress will be measured through the quality and of your bug reporting, the effectiveness of your test plans, and the impact of your data-driven decisions on overall player satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Related to game design.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance techniques, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Background in collaborative work within integrated product teams, emphasizing Development and QA collaboration.

This is a full-time role based out of our EA Hyderabad based office. You'll be reporting to a Development Manager for mentorship and guidance.
