Do you have experience with DevOps technologies ? If so you are in the right place. We, the EA SPORTS DevOps team, are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join us. You will be part of a global team contributing to the best sports games on the market (NHL, FIFA, UFC - just to name a few fan favorites).

You will be reporting to your project & people manager based in Bucharest.

Your Responsibilities:
-
Enhance availability, performance and stability of cloud-based services though automation
-
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a live production environment and identify opportunities for improvements through automation
-
Assess incoming requests from partner teams for feasibility, applicability, and understanding of team priorities
-
Refine and improve CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tooling (such as GitOps, GitLab)
-
Work in a follow the sun model to support the amazing EA SPORTS games (troubleshoot game server infrastructure at different layers, including application, network, load balancing, OS and application)

Participate in on-call and online support programs during the year with an emphasis during launches and live events.

Your Qualifications:
-
3+ years of experience in a DevOps engineer (or similar) role
-
Experience writing software in one or more languages, such as Python, JavaScript or similar
-
Experience with the major cloud providers (such as deploying applications on VMs or manage Kubernetes services, storage management, monitoring applications)
-
Experience with orchestration technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes)
-
Experience with scalable networking technologies such as DNS, subnetting, route tables, NAT, firewalls, Load Balancers and web standards (REST APIs)

Demonstrated expertise in operating systems and network security fundamentals

Hands-on experience with deployment technologies (such as Chef, Ansible, XL Release/Deployment)

Hands-on experience with version control systems such as GIT
-
Experience with pipeline automation systems such as Jenkins, GitLab and GitHub
-
Experience with monitoring and observability systems such as Prometheus and Grafana
-
Familiarity with IT security best practices such as encryption, certificates, key and credentials management
