Position Title: Executive Assistant III

Just 13 miles south of Manchester and a 15-minute train journey, is the attractive market town of Wilmslow. Here amongst the boutique shops and independent cafes and bars is the stunning Playdemic studio. Acquired by EA in 2021, Playdemic is home to the top 10 grossing, BAFTA-winning mobile smash – Golf Clash. Having opened at the beginning of 2020, our award-winning, bespoke studio space offers conventional desk space as well as indulgent breakout areas, meeting rooms and alternative workspaces. The office has been ridgeline-designed to create an environment that encourages and allows our team to do their very best work.

As Playdemic's Corporate Communications and Studio Administrator, you will be crucial in Playdemic's continued success. We're looking for someone to join us and lead Community Engagement efforts while improving the studio's PR and Social Media platforms.

 

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Studio Head of Operations, in joining us you will lead and implement the Integrated Comms strategy to bolster Playdemic's identity
  • You will leverage best practices across multiple social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Facebook pages
  • You will manage Playdemic Corporate website, guide a relaunch, post regular Playdemic features and blocs, and ensure content follows company and federal guidelines
  • You will provide EA Mobile Newsletter support and updates
  • You will manage studio travel, expenses, and procurement
  • You will be the "face of the Playdemic studio" by coordinating and facilitating the engagement of all Playdemic guests, developing an activation strategy and leading community programs and Playdemic's relationships with charities, local schools, colleges, and universities
  • Arrange and manage Playdemic Events and Company Socials
  • Ensure Playdemic is represented at Gaming, Sports, and Tech-industry events
  • Establish professional working relationships with Content Creators
  • Organise and oversee activations by building content briefs and managing any invites, contract requests, and payments
  • Partner with Studio Leadership and EA's People Experience team to contribute to our long-term recruitment strategy

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proficient in running PR campaigns
  • Built and managed company websites and social media accounts
  • Proficient in Community Management in the UK and EU with existing local relationships
  • Apt at using resources available from local governments, universities, councils, and community service organisations
  • Background with digital and creator marketing and appropriate metrics of success
  • Knowledge of video and livestream platforms such as Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok and other new social platforms
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Figma
  • Proficient in video editing software, Adobe Creative Cloud, or other content creation programs
  • Planning, organisational, and task/project management abilities
  • Present plans and concepts in English
  • Familiar with collaborating in a global environment with a hybrid workforce
  • Interest in gaming
