The Frostbite team is working on a wide array of projects to support the needs of our game developers. As an Advanced Data Analyst, reporting to the Director of Analytics, you will work with the Frostbite Operations team to improve the efficiency of our business operations. You will use your analytical skills to transform the operational needs of the business into insights and influence how Frostbite helps EA make amazing games.

You will.. 

  • You will work with the Sr. Operations Manager of the Frostbite team to tell a story with high-dimensionality data from multiple sources by using different tools and data analysis techniques.
  • You will perform data-gap analysis on the data generated by the business processes to identify improvements in the existing data and define new data to be captured.
  • You will design data models that capture all the essential data generated by the business processes.
  • You will determine important metrics that provide feedback on the efficacy of the business.
  • You will prepare detailed reports that help the business monitor the processes and identify new areas of opportunity to improve the impact of their products and services.
  • You will evaluate, interpret, and present data to find risks and opportunities to improve our service.
  • You will conduct statistical analysis for identifying patterns and trends, hypothesis testing, prediction, or inference.

You bring... 

  • 7+ years of work experience in a past analytical role, 3+ years of verifiable work experience in the field of business operations, using data to create operational improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics) or completion of post- secondary level Math and Statistics courses.
  • Experience of Microsoft Power BI or other comparable BI tool.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks technology and Cloud Computing platforms (i.e. Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Soft skills

  • Be able to engage with both senior business management and technical people when discussing data analysis needs or findings.
  • Can move beyond data by translating customer needs into user requirements.


BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $107,600 - $147,100 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
