Position Title: DD II

External Description:

Summary

You will report to the Senior DD and lead a local team and collaborate with global teams to deliver content related to unannounced and live service titles bringing value to players through improving personalization and growing engagement in EA titles.

Responsibilities

  • You will partner with Senior DD, Art + Tech Leadership, and Game Team partners leads to establish the strategy to create project milestones and schedule

  • Organize, lead daily stand-ups, backlog prioritization + grooming, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives and other team meetings with your scrum team(s)

  • Create work estimates, track progress, and report status in the form of burn up/down charts

  • Support the team from concept to live (estimates, tasks, change requests, bugs)

  • Be the scrum master for a many-sided development team

  • Evaluate individual performance and potential of team members, provide appropriate recognition or constructive feedback

  • Support cross location/cultural partnerships with Shanghai team and Global Game Team partners.

  • You will work with internal and external partners to ensure that quality, budgets and timelines are met.

  • You will inspire fresh thinking and new ideas to ensure the team has the best organizational structure and practices to allow them to produce high quality on time and on budget.

  • You will help develop a team culture based on openness, trust and collaboration.

  • You will be responsible for coaching and career development of your reports.

  • Grow to represent Create KL as Operations Leader, partnering with People Practices, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Workplace, and Legal.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience: You have 7+ years in Project Management

  • You have experience in delivery of large critical software projects (20+ team members, multi-million-dollar budgets).

  • You have the ability to excite and lead a diverse team to deliver innovation through collaboration.

  • You have the ability to improve outcomes across all levels of an organization, build partnerships, and solve critical priorities.

  • You have the ability to set clear goals and monitor execution towards those goals.

  • Role specific skills: You have excellent knowledge of Content Development processes, with project and risk management experience.

  • You are an inclusive and development-oriented people manager.

  • You have experience with finance, data, or analytics related areas either through managed data related projects or as components of projects.

  • Fluent in English. Conversational in Mandarin (Fluent a big plus).
