External Description:

The multi-disciplined Player & Quality Insights team focuses on understanding player behavior and designing player feedback events across our entire portfolio of games, to help game teams develop the games and experiences our players want to play. We are a player-inspired team where every major decision starts with who we make games for.

Main purpose of the role

As the Development Manager you will be responsible for delivering automated solutions supporting the manual verification of Standards and requirements of EA experiences. You will report to the Director of Technical Delivery and be part of a dynamic team of project - and product managers driving an important strategic pillar for Player & Quality Insights. Our team is integrated in the wider technical efforts of the organization, ensuring EA products meet the highest standards of Quality across every experience. 

Your Responsibilities

• Manage the efforts of a small team of software developers (Kanban).
• Anticipate bottlenecks, project prioritization, balance the needs versus technical constraints, and manage stakeholders.
• Bridge the gap between developers and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
• Focus on the immediate team and identify team issues, and suggest solutions related to execution goals. 
• Foster a collaborative environment.

Your Qualifications

• 3+ years of Project Management or Project Lead Experience.
• Bachelor's degree in any number of related fields including Computer Science, Business.
• Experience in a Scrum / Agile software development environment (Kanban, Scrum).
• Experience working with global teams.
