We are the IT team supporting AAA game development in a highly collaborative environment at our DICE studio in central Stockholm. Join us in powering the future of play alongside the teams behind Battlefield, Frostbite and many more.

We are looking for an IT Desktop Team Lead to join our Site IT team.

As the IT Desktop Team Lead, you will oversee and actively work with our desktop support and engineering team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. This role is a full-time, onsite position, and you will report to the Senior Site IT Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to employees on both hardware and software issues.
  • Purchasing of hardware and software, managing of licences and hardware inventory.
  • Look to improve all aspects of the Desktop Support and Engineering functions.
  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve key performance goals and metrics.
  • Mentor team members to enhance their skills and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure consistent IT services to our business users.
  • Develop relationships with the business, vendors and other functions.
  • Maintain documentation of systems and processes.
  • Managing and allocating budgets for IT resources and projects.

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in the IT industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory administration.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to prioritise, coordinate, and organise tasks effectively.
  • The ability to learn and support new applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with project and budget management.
  • Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create guides and articles.
