 Summary

Frostbite is looking for you to fill a Quality Designer (QD) role in Rendering. The QD position will require you to provide support to four QAs and Rendering engineering teams focusing on supporting activities related to releases and maintenance of QA processes.

You will be reporting to the QV (Quality Verification) Development Director.

 Responsibilities

  • Team Support
    • Test tools, report bugs, and provide indispensable support to both software engineers and QA teams to ensure the seamless operation of our rendering technologies.
    • Take primary responsibility for the maintenance and optimization of the screenshot infrastructure. This includes reporting any failures, updating screenshots, and assisting engineers with generating new screenshots, ensuring our visual quality benchmarks are met.
  • Test Case Management
    • Create and maintain comprehensive test cases, contributing to our QA framework.

 Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 2 years in a QA role, within the gaming industry or a related field. Experience in an embedded, integrated product team (Development + QA) is valued.
  • Technical Skills: A grasp of QA methodologies, experience with test case management tools, and defect tracking systems. 
  • Passion for Gaming and Technology: A genuine interest in gaming, rendering technologies, and game engines such as Unreal Engine, Unity, and Godot.
  • Problem-Solving: Can identify and solve complex problems, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

 A plus:

  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge (c# / python / angular) can be helpful when working with engineers and for automating repetitive tasks.
