Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

Develops and facilitates a strategic planning framework for the Fan Growth organization that engages leaders and strategic thinkers to develop strategies that will enable us to optimize customers’ success with our brands and experiences.

Partners with organizational leaders to create clarity by defining Fan Growth’s investment priorities and desired outcomes.

 

Business management excellence

Translates strategic plans into annual operating plans that include our strategies, financials, target metrics, business owners, and more.

Defines and centralizes a library of processes that enable our Leadership Team and their teams to deliver the annual operating plan.

 

Budget planning governance

Creates the system to connect budgets to decisions, tracking and reporting on the strategic and operational choices we make through their budget impacts, creating visibility and traceability for business leaders. 

 

Business communications fit for an executive audience

Ensures org leaders have a clear view of how we're performing against our operating plan by creating communications for an executive audience. 

 

A day in the life

Gathers intel from operational and strategic leaders to tie together a cohesive operating narrative.

Champions the OKR process within the organization, providing guidance, facilitating alignment and communication, and helping teams navigate the process.

Facilitates a work session to help the Leadership Team define Fan Growth’s desired outcomes.

Applies EA brand standards—along with operational performance data, business savvy, and compelling visualizations—to communicate succinctly to leaders across EA.  

Interviews subject matter experts to generate influential communications for an emerging Fan Growth strategy, service, or capability.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an OKR coach or master
  • Ability to translate language mired in detail into clear and meaningful goals that focus people’s efforts to deliver results
  • Experience creating annual business plans and budgets; and developing compelling narratives to drive alignment and investment
  • Strategic acumen coupled with a drive for business excellence
  • Strong leadership competencies and people skills
  • Excellent storytelling skills and awareness of industry (CX and gaming) trends
  • Proven success in a strategic planning role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration
  • 10+ years of related experience: business operations, strategic planning, consulting

 

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.


BASE SALARY RANGES

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $170,500 - $259,300 USD Annually
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $167,300 - $259,300 USD Annually
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $202,600 - $259,300 USD Annually
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $180,100 - $237,200 USD Annually
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $167,300 - $238,500 USD Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
