Position Title: Junior Cinematic Artist

External Description:

As an FC Capture Artist, you will build realistic-looking FC (soccer) gameplay moments that will be used in marketing and promotional content for advertising and social media. An FC Capture Artist is an avid soccer fan with deep knowledge in the sport's culture and very high level EA FC skills. Basic understanding of cinematic camera language is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

Build and capture realistic-looking FC (soccer) gameplay moments that will be used in marketing and promotional content for advertising and social media.
You will quality control gameplay captures to ensure the final results are authentic to real soccer. Deep soccer knowledge will be a must for your day-to-day.
You will achieve the best results while working within the confines of unfinished technology.
Communicate any issues with leads to determine the best way to adjust capture to achieve the visual goal for the asset.
You will archive and manage assets.
You will plan and complete small to medium size projects and coordinate captures with 1-2 additional capture artists to accomplish shots.
Work with Leads & Supervisors to create and organize trackers across multiple projects.
You will communicate with leads & supervisors and production partners on project status.

Requirements

Expert knowledge of the EA FC franchise, its modes and culture.
High level of EA FC gaming skills -- a competitive play test will be required.
Deep knowledge of real world soccer, including rules, tactics, formations, play styles, clubs, players (current and retired), managers, leagues, transfers and culture.
You will complete assigned tasks and features.
Proficient in PC use and current generation video game consoles
Team-oriented.
The ability to focus on multiple projects and tasks in group settings under high-pressure.
Basic knowledge of cinematic and camera language is an asset but not required.

Additional Benefits

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

HOURLY PAY RANGES

• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $55,800 - $74,300 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
